Description
Set of 5 vintage serving dishes in blue and green fajalauza, made in granada, with decorations of birds, flowers and geometries. Fajalauza pottery is a popular enamelled and decorated earthenware pottery, originally produced in the albaicín region of granada, with a pottery tradition that dates back to 1517. It has remained unchanged in a style and signs of identity characterized by stanniferous glaze and cobalt blue or green decoration with plant motifs - pomegranate playing a leading role -, birds and lace. At the beginning of the last quarter of the twentieth century, it entered the process of industrialization, thus losing its personality. Granada, spain. Twentieth century, 60s.
