Pretty paper basket in lacquered sheet metal, directoire style, circa 1900, Oval in shape, it has an elegant plain straw yellow decoration embellished with a frieze of palmettes and gold border. The underside is lacquered grey. Some signs of time: jumps of gold lacquer at the edges, small traces, stripes and two tiny deformations. Small wear and surface oxidations at the bottom of the basket. Height: 25 cm. Length: 21 cm. Width: 18 cm.
