Beautiful and rare oval dining table designed by Andrew J Milne for Heals in the early 1950s. This lovely and unusual design has a top made of solid planks of mansonia, a type of African walnut, interspersed with interlocking strips which sits on a cross braced teak base. The item has been refinished and is generally in excellent condition with the odd sign of wear and tear.
