Vintage 1930 globe terrestrial Jacques Adnet world map J. Forest glass wood -

Vintage world map made of glass, paper, wood, and metal by the brand J.Forest attributed to Jacques Adnet circa 1930 in its original condition. This is an Art Deco globe weighing over 3KG. While the map is damaged and the colours have faded, the glass globe is intact and thick. The wooden base is superb, as are the metal parts, which are oxidised but of fine quality. The electrical cable is recent, there is a switch on the wire, and we have replaced the bulb with an energy-saving LED bayonet bulb (B22). It measures 43cm in height, 28cm in depth, and the globe has a diameter of 26cm.
