Description
This engraving made by rené pinard represents the port of nantes in 1913. It is countersigned in wooden pencil and numbered 28/80. It has a beautiful natural wood frame and protective glass. We note traces in the margin and small pitting on the engraving, nothing dramatic, it remains presentable and acceptable. René pinard (1883-1938) is a french painter and engraver. He was appointed painter of the navy in 1921. Obviously, as a marine painter, most of his work has the theme of the sea, the navy and sailors. Moreover, more often the boats than the sea itself.
