Salad bowl L XV "Fine street lamp" KG Lunéville

Square fruit bowl / salad bowl on heel in fine half-porcelain earthenware, stamped kg (keller & guérin) lunéville france, "réverbère fin" model, louis XV shape. Decor of tulips in bouquet and scattered flowers on white background. Lobed border, enhanced with a carmine red net. Five old chips on the edge (see detailed photos), rare and tiny traces of use, no traces of friction, clean heel. A flagship of french earthenware, both fresh and majestic, the "réverbère fin" decor has its origins in lunéville ca 1750, and has inspired others (such as the "vieux strasbourg" by villeroy & boch and "marlborough" by spode) and was published until may 2022, the date of the definitive cessation of the activities of the lunéville & saint-clément kg manufactures. The cup offered here dates from the 1970s. Diam. 31 cm (27 cm side), h 11 cm.
